Please let us pray and hope that both Alex and Byron are found and brought home. A year is a long time to wait to get an answer. They are both heroes.

There is Love in a soldier You see it when they leave all their families and friends and You see it when they fight for all theese rights. There is Strength in a soldier You see it by them never backing down or giving up. There is fear in a soldier You tell it by their heart but you have to listen closely if you want to hear it.Do me a favor look in a soldier i bet all this will be true. Thats why theese soldiers are still out there waiting for us to listen to their fear.

HEROES Your Hero is missing, in distant Iraq,
And you just want them home, you just want them back. No one can tell you, where or when, So I try to bring comfort, with words from my pen. Soldiers and Veterans, and America too, Are here to offer, our support to you. Please accept, the support and the love, And the prayers that we send, to God up above. We prayed for them then, and we pray for them yet, For we will NEVER, NEVER, EVER, FORGET !!! Copyright ©2008 Donald E Pearce

On the first anniversary of the capture of Sgt. Alex Jimenez of Lawrence, MA., and his comrade, Pfc. Byron Fouty, of Waterford, MI, I am taking the liberty to use an excerpt from a sermon by Pastor John Hagee to remind my fellow Americans that: "It's the soldier not the reporter who gives you the freedom of the press. It's the soldier not the poet who gives you the freedom of speech. It's the soldier not the campus organizer who allows you to demonstrate. It's the soldier who salutes the flag, serves the flag, whose coffin is draped with the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag!!!" Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need, and please, bring Alex and Byron back to their families. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

As the parent of a soldier (He has been to Iraq twice), I will continue to pray for the safe return of Alex and Byron. I also pray that God will give everyone in their families the strength to endure what you must until they come home.

Please accept this poem as a reminder that the silent majority support you and your families. POW/MIA Missing in action, Prisoner of war We still want to see them, walk through the door. It does not matter, how long or how late, We’ll never stop striving, to learn of their fate. Do you think it’s something, we should continue to do? Wouldn’t you want us, to keep looking for you?? They served their country, without regret, So what we owe THEM, is to NEVER FORGET They fought with Honor, They’re now captured or missing, When they should be home, With their sweethearts kissing. So, like a cry in the night, from the misbegotten, We cry out from our hearts, YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN!!! Copyright ©2008 Donald Pearce

Prayer for your sons

I wanted to comfort the loved ones of your deceased sons. I gave a silent prayer to God and found a relevant passage in the Bible, 1 Timothy Chapter 2. To paraphrase, Timothy exhorts an early Christian congregation that it is pleasing to the living God that we should pray for everyone's soul to come to the knowledge of the Truth. Since God does not deal with earthly time, obviously we are speaking of eternity, God therefore still loves it when we pray for that others come to salvation. For God, nothing (absolutely) nothing is impossible. Here is the scripture: Apostle Timothy: "First of all then, I ask supplications, prayers, petitions, and thanksgivings be offered for everyone, for kings and for all in authority, that we may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all devotion and dignity. This is good and pleasing to God our savior, who wills everyone to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth."For there is one God. There is also one mediator between God and the human race, Christ Jesus, himself human who gave himself as ransom for all" In my own words without Catholic doctrine (though it would be wiser) God, only You know Jimenez, Fouty, and Joseph like no one else, as You are their loving Heavenly Father. In this difficult time, it may be hard to know your love when sorrow or pain is in our hearts. But I pray that Jesus, Your Beloved Son will pray for them so that they may be forgiven of any offense, and may ultimately be consoled in Your loving care for all eternity with the company of the angels, saints and Mary, Your Mother. I also pray that you strengthen their family with hope and courage to get through this difficult time. And may Mary, the woman of grace also pray for your family... God bless you!

Nothing I can say can take away your pain. But let me say that with so many selfish people in the world you can be proud that the sons you raised were wonderful men. Men who gave their lives for their country, and for peace in this world. God bless you all.

I am soo soo very sorry to hear of the loss of your Sons. I never had the pleasure of meeting them but hearing your story and reading about them made me see what wonderful men you had raised. My fiance is a former Marine officer so I understand the passion that is engrained in a soldier. that passion, love of country, life and family is something that will live on in all of you and all of the men and women who had the pleasure to know your Sons. I honor them both and will pray for your family. No words can help, I know, but know that even strangers are honoring them today. Thank you to your brave Sons for sacrificing for our freedom. I so wishthey could be home with you this morning but I know they are in your hearts forever. Bless you.
