Polartec© (formerly known as Malden Mills of Lawrence, MA) donated over 800 Polartec© fleece blankets to NECFOM to be shipped to our soldiers serving overseas.  NECFOM desperately needs your help in getting these blankets to our troops and is seeking sponsors to help defray the packaging and postage costs associated with shipping them to the Iraq and Afghanistan.   

For a small tax deductible donation of $25.00 a Polartec© blanket can be shipped to a soldier overseas and as the sponsor you can include your first name, your family name or you can remain anonymous. You can also send a blanket in honor of a loved one currently serving or in memory of a loved one. You can include a brief comment to your sponsored soldier using our pledge form or, if you prefer, you’re welcome to write a detailed letter which we will include in the package to your sponsored soldier.

When we receive your donation NECFOM will send you a written confirmation by mail that the blanket has been shipped. NECFOM will include a certificate of sponsorship which will include your sponsored soldier’s name so that you’ll know that because of your generosity a man or woman bravely serving thousands of miles from home is kept warm in both body and spirit.

Please help send a high tech, quality Polartec© blanket and know that your soldier is getting a more peaceful night’s sleep knowing that someone, even a stranger from back home, has wrapped him or her in a warm and thoughtful gift of caring and appreciation.
